Every review on weedviewer follows a structured, criteria-based evaluation methodology. We assess each strain across multiple dimensions: appearance, aroma, flavour, effects, burn quality, and price-to-quality ratio, to deliver consistent and comparable results across all products.
weedviewer has no commercial relationships with cannabis cultivators, brands, or dispensaries. Our reviews are entirely unsponsored and uninfluenced. We purchase products ourselves to guarantee that our assessments remain fully objective and trustworthy.

Every strain reviewed on weedviewer goes through our standardised 6-step evaluation process. This ensures consistency, fairness, and depth across all reviews.
We begin with a detailed examination of bud structure, trichome coverage, density, colour, and overall appearance. Visual quality can indicate cultivation care, curing technique, and potency. We document colour, crystal formation, and any signs of quality or concern.
We evaluate the scent profile and terpene characteristics both before and after breaking open the buds. Aroma is one of the strongest indicators of terpene richness. We identify dominant and secondary scent notes, intensity, and complexity.
We assess the taste on inhale and exhale, including smoothness, flavour complexity, and how closely the taste matches the aroma. Flavour consistency across different consumption methods is also noted where applicable.
We monitor the onset, duration, intensity, and character of effects. including: cerebral, physical, relaxing, energising, or creative qualities. We note how well the effects match the strain type (indica, sativa, hybrid) and how suitable the experience is for different use cases.
We evaluate the strain on the basis of quality relative to its purchase price, while recognising that pricing can vary by location and dispensary. We consider overall consumer value and whether the product delivers on its promise for the cost.
We assess how the product burns, including ash colour and consistency, smoothness of smoke or vapour, and the overall consumption experience. Clean, white ash and smooth draws are indicators of well-flushed, properly cured cannabis.
