Verdict

Amazing Haze delivers a smoothed-out, focused daytime head-high with a unique earthy/lemony sweet terpene profile. While the inconsistent burn keeps it from perfection, its solid performance and decent price tag make it a good and enjoyable option.

Amazing Haze: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"Amazing Haze (Amsterdam Genetics) is a hybrid engineered to capture the full spectrum of cannabis genetics. Genetics bred in Amsterdam, this heavy-hitting strain is a cross between the legendary, 70% sativa Amnesia Haze and the tasty, 80% indica-dominant Caramella. By marrying these two opposing forces, breeders successfully smoothed out the aggressive, racy edges of the classic Amnesia parent. The result is a balanced indica-sativa hybrid boasting a formidable THC content that infuses a rich, subtle sweetness into an unmistakable hazy foundation.","heading":"About"},{"content":"On opening the bag, you’re greeted by a pleasant fresh, lemony profile that is similar to traditional Amnesia Haze. However, it swaps out the usual sharp, racy bite for a softer, more rounded sweet nose, adding a layer of complexity and uniqueness. It's a nice, clean scent and decently loud.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"The flavour translates well from the scent, offering a well-defined and unique twist on the classic profile. The initial draw brings a soft lemon flavour with some earthy undertones, notably not having any spicy sharpness. This is quickly backed up by a subtler not so strong, sweet, caramel-like finish. While the flavour is distinct, it isn't overwhelmingly strong. As the session progresses towards the end of the joint, the intensity wears off, leaving behind a more herbal finish.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"The effects deliver a strong yet remarkably focused head-high, making it a good companion for daytime productivity or creative projects. It has a great balance, keeping you sharp and task-oriented. However, a little goes a long way. If you overindulge, that clean focus can shift into a much stronger, \"spacey\" headspace due to its underlying potency. It also has good longevity, keeping you elevated for a solid duration.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"The burn is where the experience stumbles a bit. It starts off strong with an even burn and a promising, light grey ash. Unfortunately, that consistency doesn't hold up throughout the entire joint. While the harshness is relatively manageable and generally better than expected, a few draws have a bit of a throat kick. It’s a decent smoke overall, but it certainly leaves room for improvement.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
