Sunkissed Melonade RuntZ

Rating: 6.1/10

Verdict

Aardachtig's Melonade Runtz offers a surprisingly pleasant, stress melting social high, but it is severely held back by a harsh burn and poor bag appeal. While the effects hit the mark for chill social settings, the dark ash and throat harshness make it a tough sell for consumers focused on clean smoke performance and strong flavour.

Sunkissed Melonade RuntZ: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"Sunkissed Melonade Runtz is an sunlight cultivated hybrid strain produced by Aardachtig. Combining Melonade and Runtz genetics, this Dutch sun grown flower aims to deliver an approachable, sweet candy profile with relaxing hybrid effects.","heading":"About"},{"content":"The nugs are on the smaller side with a fluffier structure and an off green colour. A loose trim leaves a noticeable amount of sugar leaf behind, and the exterior lacks a sparkling coat of trichomes.","heading":"Visual"},{"content":"A modest nose out of the bag that opens with a dominant herbal scent supported by faint candy fruity sweetness underneath. Grinding releases a slight bump in volume, but it remains predominantly herbal and lacks the loud, complex terpene punch expected from Runtz lineage.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"An acceptable flavour profile that is redeemed by its finish. The draw opens with a prominent herbal baseline, but as you exhale, a sweet gassy aftertaste comes through to save the flavour from feeling entirely flat.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"The clear highlight of the strain. It delivers a mellow, creeper high that builds up steadily into a warm, uplifting, and stress free experience. It brings a cozy physical relaxation that makes your eyelids feel comfortably heavy without inducing heavy brain fog or paranoia. Balanced and approachable, it sits at a great potency level for chill hangouts or social settings.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"A major drawback for this strain. The joint burns with mostly dark ash and delivers a distinctly harsh, throat scratchy smoke on almost every puff. Burn performance is rough throughout, making for a challenging session pure.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
