A5 Haze: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"A5 Haze is a legendary cannabis hybrid created in the late 1980s by iconic breeder Nevil Schoenmakers. At his famous \"Cannabis Castle\" in the Netherlands, Nevil crossed an elite Northern Lights #5 female with a rare, pure sativa known as Haze Male A.\n\nThe strain achieved rare status due to a twist: Haze Male A was lost shortly after the initial cross. Because the father plant disappeared, the exact breeding line could never be replicated in seed form. Only a single female phenotype survived from that specific project, the \"A5 clone\".\n\nFor decades, the clone was preserved strictly through cuttings passed around the Dutch underground coffee shop scene and elite breeding networks. It became famous for its intense, trippy, and psychedelic cerebral effects combined with a distinct, \"old-school\" aroma profile. Today, it remains a foundational pillar of vintage sativa history.","heading":"About"},{"content":"Lacks bag appeal. The nugs are on the smaller, fluffier side with an off green, yellowish tint. While some sparkling trichomes coat the exterior and sugar leaves are mostly kept in check, the presence of unnecessary stem sticks also holds back its visual grade.","heading":"Visual"},{"content":"An inviting earthy take on classic Haze genetics. Straight out of the bag, it presents a pleasant earthy spicy profile where the sharp, piney Haze notes are rounded off into a smooth earthy base. It carries decent volume and serves as a unique throwback to traditional Dutch Haze profiles.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"Translates directly from the aroma. The palate is dominated by an earthy spicy foundation supported by subtle fresh pine and a faint hint of lemon in the background. It offers a unique, nostalgic Haze taste with a decent aftertaste, though it could stand to be a bit bolder in raw intensity.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"A focused, tunnel vision high that acts more as an easy going motivator than a raw energizer. It combines mental clarity and a creative push with a noticeable, grounding physical relaxation that keeps stress at bay. It gives you the drive to get things done without making you feel overly wired or jittery.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"A standout highlight of the strain. It burns exceptionally clean and smooth throughout the joint, leaving behind a mostly white ash accented by light grey patches and minor specks. Smoke experience is excellent, delivering an easy draw with almost zero throat harshness from start to finish.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
