Verdict

AMG is a classic Haze throwback that delivers a decently spacey, weightless high perfect for a giggly afternoon. While the spicy-lemon aroma is loud, the flavour lacks staying power and the burn is a mixed bag with dark, uneven ash. It’s a solid, middle-of-the-road daytime pick, pleasant and functional, but nothing that’s going to blow your mind.

[{"content":"Amnesia Mac Ganja (AMG) is a sativa-dominant strain crafted by \"The Ganja Man\" for Kera Seeds. It’s a direct cross between the world-famous Original Amnesia and the Ganja man's own phenotype of Mexican Haze, a lineage that helped it achieve significant acclaim by winning four consecutive cups from 2014 to 2017. In the modern market, it maintains a solid reputation as a reliable \"European classic\".","heading":"About"},{"content":"Right out of the gate, AMG hits you with that classic, spicy Haze funk that’s pretty hard to miss. It’s decently loud, with a bit of lemon in the background. If you’re a Haze lover, you’ll definitely dig the initial punch.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"The translation from scent to taste is fairly accurate, though it doesn't quite hold the same intensity on the palate. You get a spicy, herbal, and lemony mix that strongly resembles a nice cup of spicy herbal tea. It’s a bit of a mixed bag here, while the initial taste is fairly decent, its not staying for a long time. Later on in the session the session, the spicy & lemony notes start to fade into a more generic, herbal finish.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"The high is a decently spacey cerebral shift that kicks in without any real physical weight. It lands in a nice spot, not incredibly strong, but also not weak, leaving you feeling uplifted, giggly, and euphoric. It’s a solid, chill daytime choice, though it's not really it, if you're looking for something unique effects wise.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"The ash isn’t the prettiest, showing a lot of darker spots rather than a clean, light grey. It also struggles with consistency and doesn't burn very evenly, so you might find yourself checking the cherry a bit. On the plus side, it isn't too harsh on the throat, making for a smooth enough draw despite the visual quality of the ash. It’s an okay burn, but definitely lacks in some places.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
