Strawberry Haze

Rating: 6.8/10

Verdict

The effects are where it truly earns its place. It delivers a clear-headed, warm high that’s perfect for staying productive. If you can look past the slightly harsh smoke and subtle strawberry notes, it’s a reliable daytime choice that prioritizes a solid mood over a flashy flavour profile.

Strawberry Haze: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"Strawberry Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid, most famously refined by Arjan Roskam at Greenhouse Seeds. It made a massive splash in the mid-2000s, famously taking 1st place at the Green House V.I.S.P. panel in 2005. Today, it’s a staple for those seeking a high-energy \"clean\" sativa, valued more for its sweet, aromatic profile than pure sedative power.","heading":"About"},{"content":"The profile is a nice, herbal-forward smell that carries that specific strawberry sweetness right on top. It’s a pleasant and unique aroma, though it isn't the loudest strain on the shelf. Once ground, the strawberry notes take a small step forward, becoming a bit more noticeable against the herbal base, but it still maintains a relatively subtle presence rather than a punchy fruit explosion.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"The flavour isn't quite as \"crazy\" as the name might suggest. It leans into a more herbal and earthy taste, with just a slight strawberry sweetness showing up on the exhale. When that strawberry note actually hits, it’s really nice and unique, but unfortunately, it isn't that strong most of the time. The flavour lacks a bit of staying power, and the herbal earthiness tends to dominate the experience.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"The high is definitely where this strain’s strength lies. It features a gradual onset that builds into a clear-headed, warm high that feels very manageable. It’s a great choice for getting through a to-do list, as it lacks that typical \"racy\" Haze anxiety. It isn't overwhelming at all, offering a solid level of functional clarity that feels consistent and pleasant throughout.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"The burn is a bit of a mixed bag and lacks the refinement of the high. It’s slightly harsh on the throat and the ash isn't the best-looking, showing darker spots throughout the joint and didn't burn that even. It’s not the worst smoke, but it’s certainly not great or particularly smooth.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
