Verdict

Aardachtig’s Zitronella is great for smokers that enjoy a clean smoke. Backed by a wonderful white ash burn and a really enjoyable cozy, comforting high, it easily overcomes its soft flavour volume to land as one of the more enjoyable and functional daily smokes.

Zitronella: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"Zitronella is a hybrid cultivar bred from a lineage crossing Zkittlez x (Lemontree x OG). This specific genetic template merges the sugary confectionery fruit profile of Zkittlez with the sharp, chemical-fuel citrus traits of Lemontree (Lemon Skunk x Sour Diesel), all anchored by the OG Kush backbone. This complex mix yields a plant characterized by a unique lemon forward flavour profile and a balanced hybrid high.","heading":"About"},{"content":"An impressive presentation with strong bag appeal. The nugs feature great bud structure, balanced compactness, and an abundance of sparkling trichomes across the surface. A thorough trim leaves no stray sugar leaves behind. While the green colour retains slight yellowish undertones, the overall visual quality remains strong.","heading":"Visual"},{"content":"A unique nose. Straight out of the bag, it opens with funky, almost chemical citrus-lemon notes mixed with a slightly sweet spice. Grinding shifts the aroma balance, the funky spice steps back while the citrus transforms into a prominent, sweet lemon candy mix. While it could stand to be a bit louder, the complexity is there and the aroma is pleasant.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"The weaker link for this cultivar. The draw delivers a soft, mostly lemon taste upfront backed by very faint sweetness and an earthy undertone on the exhale. While pleasant and clean, it lacks raw punch and volume compared to the loud promise of the ground nose.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"A really nice high that wraps you in a comforting mix of physical relaxation and gentle mental uplift. It settles you into a relaxed, chill state while keeping your mind sharp and clear headed. Free of overwhelming anxiety or heavy couch lock, it is perfect for casual social settings or activities.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"An absolute highlight of the session. The joint burns remarkably straight and even, producing a good oil ring and dropping clean, almost completely white ash with only tiny, negligible grey specks. It delivers an exceptionally smooth pure smoking experience with virtually no harshness.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
