Bacio Gelato Strain by Linsboer | Info & Reviews | WeedViewer

WeedViewer Review

Rating: 6.7/10

Verdict

Linsboer's Bacio Gelato makes up for its weak visual bag appeal and muted flavour profile with a genuinely fun, mood-boosting high. Its giggly, relaxing effects and good price make it a nice option.

Bacio Gelato: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"A powerhouse of the dessert strain era. Originally bred by Sherbinskis, Bacio Gelato (Gelato #41) is a specialized clone only phenotype selected from the historic cross of Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint GSC. While its sister phenotypes (like Acai Berry or Mochi) are celebrated for their light, dessert forward sweetness, Bacio Gelato stands out as the structurally heavier, dark horse of the family. The flower immediately commands attention with a pungent complex aroma with notes of dark, ripened berries and a rich, creamy vanilla dough. ","heading":"About"},{"content":"Lacks visual appeal. The batch consists of tiny, compact nugs that show very little trichome action on the exterior. While the trim job is clean enough to remove excess sugar leaves, the overall presentation remains basic and unremarkable.","heading":"Visual"},{"content":"Presents a pleasant profile that opens with soft notes of cream and earthy sweetness straight from the bag. Grinding the nugs unlocks a noticeable jump in volume, bringing out a stronger gassy edge that weaves through the creamy, sweet base for a solid nose.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"A bit of a let down given the nose, the flavour itself is quiet muted and not really there. The flavour profile is dominated by a rather neutral, soft earthy creamy core with a faint grassy fuel note lingering in the back. It lacks the punch and richness.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"The high is the strongest aspect of this batch, delivering a very enjoyable, relaxed vibe. It brings laughs and happy feelings along with a solid physical chill that settles you into a good mood. It also triggers a serious case of the munchies, making it a great strain for casual evening socializing or watching movies.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"Performs right down the middle for the burn. The joint burns somewhat evenly with ash settling into a mix of lighter to darker grey with scattered black specks. It offers a moderate smoke that feels manageable on the throat, neither exceptionally soft nor overly harsh.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
