Black Sherbet

Verdict

Linsboer's Black Sherbet is held back by low terpenes and poor burn mechanics. While the visual appeal is passable and the high brings a surprisingly fun, giggly, and easy going vibe, the dark ash, harsh throat hit, and flat flavour profile make it a tough recommendation for flavour chasers or pure smokers.

Black Sherbet: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"Black Sherbet is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain derived from the renowned Sunset Sherbet lineage. While its exact secondary parentage remains unconfirmed, breeders frequently cross Sunset Sherbet with darker dessert varieties or Blackberry cuts to intensify both its deep, dark pigmentation and its complex fruit and gas aroma profile.","heading":"About"},{"content":"The nose from the bag is extremely subtle and quiet, offering only a very soft hint of sweetness and light gas. Breaking the nugs down in the grinder brings out slightly more scent, but it remains heavily muted overall and lacks the bold punch.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"Mirroring the aroma, the taste comes across as flat and neutral. While faint cakey, sweet, and gassy notes are present on the pull, they are far too quiet to make an impression. The flavour lacks depth or longevity and fails to leave any noticeable aftertaste on the palate.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"The high proves to be the redeeming highlight of the strain, delivering a light hearted, pleasant, and slightly euphoric high with smiles and laughs. It features a gradual onset with a comfortable, non overwhelming strength that lasts a respectable amount of time before tapering off into a completely clean, gentle comedown.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"The burn performance is a clear weak spot. The joint burns unevenly throughout, yields almost no oil ring, and leaves behind a darker grey ash. The smoke carries a persistent harshness on the throat that varies from hit to hit, making for a rougher smoking experience overall.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
