Sour Z

weedviewer Review

Rating: 5.8/10

Verdict

Sour Z is a smooth smoking option for beginners or intermediate users wanting a mild, functional daytime high without harshness. However, with its low trichome density, planty flavour, and dry texture, €10 per gram feels steep for what this batch brings to the table.

Sour Z: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"Sour Z (also known as Sour Zkittlez) is a hybrid strain typically created by crossing Sour Diesel with Zkittlez. This cross brings together two distinct ends of the flavour spectrum combining the sharp, gas of Sour Diesel with the sugary, tropical fruit candy profile of Zkittlez. The original strain profile is traditionally expected to deliver a sweet and sour citrus fuel aroma with a balanced, uplifting yet functional hybrid high.","heading":"About"},{"content":"Medium sized buds with a nice natural color, but held back by a fluffy structure and a machine trim. The flower is on the dry side, showing only a low to visible layer of trichomes.","heading":"Visual"},{"content":"It has a soft to medium intensity smell featuring sweet and sour notes with subtle hints of candy. Once ground, the aroma actually loses some of its fruitiness and leans slightly more herbal.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"Translates poorly from the smell. The smoke starts with a sweet, herbal flavour on the inhale, leaving mostly a muted planty note on the exhale. It lacks complexity and the flavor fades quickly.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"A gradual onset bringing a light head high alongside mild body relaxation. The high is completely functional and easy to manage, making it non overwhelming, though it wears off relatively quickly after about 2 hours.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"The highlight of this batch is its burn. The joint burns cleanly and evenly, producing a nice white to light grey ash with a very soft, smooth smoke that goes down easily on the throat.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
