Sunsetz

Rating: 7.9/10

Verdict

Sunsetz is a great hybrid. While the muted green visuals won't immediately steal the show in the jar, the strain completely makes up for it once sparked, offering a loud tropical zesty nose, an amazingly complex fruity and musky-gas flavour, and a clean burning joint. Combined with a pleasant, uplifting social high, it's a good choice for anyone prioritizing taste and clean vibes at a great price point.

Sunsetz: WeedViewer Review

[{"content":"Sunsetz (La Chanvrière Cut) is an award winning, Indica dominant hybrid strain selected by French cultivator La Chanvrière, bred in collaboration with The Grateful Seeds. A cross of PeachOzz #10 and Key Lime Pie, this cultivar won the 2024 Ego Clash in Barcelona. It brings a heavy dose of sweet, fruity terpenes to the table, combined with a balanced vibe giving you an uplifted experience with deep physical relaxation without totally clouding your head.","heading":"About"},{"content":"Opening the jar reveals a loud, highly complex scent leading with an initial wave of soft gas fused with sweet tropical fruits and a sharp, zesty finish in the back. It carries a remarkably fresh, unique, and inviting fragrance that stands out immediately, only holding back slightly in pure room filling volume.","heading":"Aroma"},{"content":"On the palate, Sunsetz translates into a rich, gassy Zkittlez-style smoke that balances sweet tropical fruitiness with a soft diesel punch. A mix of sweet fruits with more tropical fruits backed up with that classic musky gassy base we know and love in cannabis. While flavour intensity varies slightly from hit to hit, the palate experience is undeniably pleasant and leaves an enjoyable, mouth coating aftertaste that lingers on the tongue after the exhale.","heading":"Flavour"},{"content":"The high is pleasant and well tuned for daytime or evening social activities. It hits with a smooth, uplifting mental clarity paired with a gentle physical calm, staying more comfortable without feeling heavy or overwhelming. It simply puts you in a great, relaxed mood, making it a stellar option for a chill evening or social activities.","heading":"Effects"},{"content":"The joint performs reliably across the session, burning straight and even with only a few minor spots requiring attention. The smoke remains fairly gentle on the throat with only minimal bite on some puffs, with an ash that burns fairly clean whiteish/light grey peppered with a few darker spots throughout.","heading":"Burn Quality"}]
