Verdict

Despite an enjoyable, functional high, this batch of Kawazaki 297 by FYTA underdelivers. The complex candy, mango, and grape notes present in the bag fail to carry through after grinding, yielding a muted, herbal aroma and a flat, grassy flavour profile. Combined with a rough, uneven burn that leaves dark, spotted ash, the €11 per gram price tag is difficult to justify for consumers who prioritize a smooth flavour and a clean smoke.
